Mill Avenue Vexations Something Funny Happened at Matsuri
Release Date: Friday February 13th, 2009
Online Release: Sunday February 15th, 2009
Ah, that’s right! I am releasing this booklet on Friday the 13th. Now that’s just epic. How amusing is that?
This story is one of the shortest I have ever printed, coming to only twelve pages of text and four pages of manga. The cover is the next amazing installment of work by Del Borovic, and the B&W booklets do not do it as much justice. As you can see, it has Vex wearing a black kimono and a torii is visible in the background. I especially like how the Japanese naval flag filters through the sky. People should go give her props. The back cover is a commissioned work by Kesiah M Gaffney from DeviantArt.
Internal to the booklets, and the part that I think is definitely the selling point are four pages of manga drawn by Rebecca Gunter; anyone uninterested in reading the story itself should still just drop in and see the first two panels—she did a lovely job.
This tribute is basically a spoof story attempting to play and poke fun at animé and manga in a particularly Vexations fashion. It’s short, quick, light and involves elements recognizable by the most casual animé fans to the hardest hardcore otaku. I hope that everyone enjoys reading this as thoroughly as I did writing it.

Io, oh chortle me.
Mark, I just spoke with my ride who usually takes me down to Mill to make sure that we'll have time there on the Ave. I've been informed that indeed we can stomp on down to the red bricks this triskadecaphobic's nightmare. I will be on the street for about two hours at most, but I'll try to make the most of it.
7-9p.m. range.
By my leave, I shall lay several copies at Graffiti Shop just in case people miss me and cannot come Saturday. |

Can you tell me how it doesn't work? Because it looks okay in Chrome and I thought that was basically the same rendering engine.
I have some people with Macintosh computers so I'll have them look. |
