Police Seek Help With Friday Stabbing on Mill Ave

More news about a stabbing that occurred Friday, on Mill Avenue.

A stabbing victim was still in critical condition Tuesday and Tempe Police are requesting the public's help in finding his assailant.

At 9:10 p.m. Friday, an unknown man stabbed a 39-year-old La Pita Bar security guard in the chest and arms and left him in critical condition, police reported.

This article about the stabbing appeared today in the ASU Webdevil. I realized this could be of interest of many of my friends and companions who frequent the Ave. I wasn't there on Friday, so I didn't know this happened, but as everyone knows we do not take kindly to people being stabbed...

Anyone who has any information on this event, or knows anyone who might, should really help the police out. We may have our issues with their behavior when it comes down to Tempe City policy, but broadly they are our protectors and we should support them when they're doing their job.

good lord! I had no idea that this had happened. hopefully someone will come forward with information regarding this case. violence is the last thing we need down on the ave. having been a subject of violence at drumcircle myself as well as seeing more than my far share of fights there I totally agree that we all need to keep an eye out for each other on the street and do our best to help people find peaceful solutions to the problems that inevitably arise between people on Mill. peace people!
