Hails and good day to all,
I'm Kyt Dotson. I wrote the fic in question. Past Mill rat, full time dreamer, and I'm here to bring these wonderful -- and bizzare -- observations to the world. I am hoping to wrap up as much of the culture of the place that I can. Visit places that people outside of Tempe have never visited before.
I want them to one day come to Mill, having read the fic, and visit the Secret Garden, or the Arch, or the Drum Circle and smile. There are so many places on Mill and ASU and that surrounding area that have magical properties above and beyond the obvious.
I write stories and books. Not for a living, not yet.
Someday I hope to have enough of a fan base and following to actually deliver a published work that will give me a way into the publishing industry. So, if anyone is willing, please give me some word-of-mouth.
If you have read and like the Mill fic, please take some time to look at my other works, tell people about the fic, bring them here. Not only do I want to be known--but by proxy I would like to bring some awareness to some of the social issues that pervade Mill itself. I have no intention of making the place any more famous than it is --
But I would like to better wrap up its mystique for those who have never visited it -- and for those who have but walked past the imported places and people in blissful ignorance.

so how does that differ from before?
Well, a lot of the Ave is wrapped up in the invisible culture. Most visitors from Scottsdale, teeniboppers and the like, look around and see the shops, the hoity-toity coffee houses, the stupid jeans shoppe at the corner but they don't see Mill.
Even the college students don't. They're inundated by the rampant consumerism, the evil of the Merchants Guild, and the general pestilence that is the Tempe governing body's attempt to displace the culture that is actually there in order to pull in people from other areas.
Part of my aim with the fic is to give Tempe a different face. One that isn't the domain of greedy, immoral, and notorious creature such as the Guild represents.
Wow, you know, most ad-bots i meet are only trying to sell me porn n' cialis. This one kinda looks like the Konami logo if you scroll thru it real fast.
Kytty dear, I can kill the spam bots around here too if you'd ever like an extra paw. ^_^
