Mill Avenue Vexations Construction Tribute: Cranes by Kyt Dotson has officially been released to print! and can now also find it online.
If you want a copy, find me on Mill Avenue tomorrow, Saturday. I will be around Graffiti Shop, Urban Outfitters, and the drum circle at varying intervals.
Also, to let everyone know, these copies are in color. Strange fortune had it that they were printed color instead of black and white which is what the usual free offerings are printed as. Of course, the color is just a faded blue like our Arizona skies, but why should that stop us from enjoying this fact?
The cover artwork is by our wonderful artist, Luis Boisvert. I will probably start posting replies to those threads with what projects each has worked on as more work comes into the Vexations project. And, if I can get enough interest, I might even do an “Artwork Of” book at some point to help pay for more print runs. I will need to gauge interest before I do such a thing.
I am thinking that subsequent printings will have Vex looking different each time. I applied a conte-pen filter to it using Illustrator this round, next time I'll use crosshatch or some other similar effect. The effects will blur her a little but supply a unique look with each new print run. I don't know how many new print runs of Cranes I will do, but there will at least be a second one at some point next year.
We have been seeing a lot of development out on Mill Ave. Here is our tribute.
“It’s a knock-down drag-out fight for Phoenix’s soul.”
Expect a sequel to this.

Yet another home run Kyt!
Funny, intriguing, scary, violent, compassionate, ruthless, relentless and massive.
The acceleration of the story could have supported a much longer tale I think. But as it was, the puter screen was warping at the end.
I'd sure like to meet Vex in another life. In this one I think she'd brush me off like a gnat on her blouse.
Keep them coming. Interesting stuff on Ley lines too, check out www.texemarrs.com for his book on ancient architecture. Great background reading into some of the darker forces at work right in front of us.
I can see Vex taking on some of the evil architects and gargoyles.
MegaKudos
peace
