Good Podcast: Industrial Strength Nightmares

I intermittently cover podcasts that I listen to. This one is Industrial Strength Nightmares.

It is another excellent show that features a majority of Gothic-Industrial and EBM bands, with some other dark work mixed in between. From what I know the host, Edwin Somnambulist, is based in Canada. One of my favorite artists—Luis Boisvert—lives in Canada! Which automatically makes it a wonderful country.

I’ve been listening sporadically for some time now, I have trouble getting every ‘cast I listen to squeezed into my schedule—but I’ve been pulling this one down a lot more lately, mostly because it’s regularly there, and also because I need more to fill up my day.

The host’s voice is worth listening to, he delivers news and information with excellent articulation, and the music is always enjoyable. I find music from this podcast about as often as I do from The Ungodly Hour. Another reason it’s a keeper.

Vex, I'm a regular subscriber and listener to ISN mentioned above. ISN is great for all the reasons you just mentioned, but also Edwin (Host) will play requests and has a female "electronic" sidekick, Echo, who adds some humor to the show! Of course, the music is the main draw, and as you pointed out, if you like The Ungodly Hour (where I'm a regular poster), you will enjoy the music here as well!

Oh, I did forget to mention Echo! Well... I do have future plans for bringing her up for other reasons—primarily because in the narrative of the show she’s an Artificial Intelligence that Edwin built to keep him company. The whole post-Apocalypse thing. Which I love.
