I forgot just how quickly the Ave changes. I left for six months and when I came back it looked quite different from the Ave that I remember. The Long Wongs building turned into a parking lot, new stores, and new street kids that I don't know. I love the Mill, and I love how it's forever changing. Except for the drum circle getting kicked out But that's ok, there's the sense of rebellion everytime we move across the street. *Sigh* It's good to be home. |

I blogged about an insightful little witness piece on Long Wongs (from another blog) about how when the bar was knocked down, nobody stopped...

I feel the same way about everything else that has passed through the grand and glorious march that is Mill Avenue. |
