Just like Anns' Arbor, Tempe has it's own Festival of the Arts. It comes in the midst of turning Mill Avenue into a glittering wonderland of X-mas lights and chandelier glow from our trees.
The tents are vanishing today, but they did take over our lovely drag for the weekend. The throngs of the day did oddly seem to cut away the crowds of the evening. Last Saturday night is one of the quietest nights that the Ave sees in a year, with only one in ten people stomping across those twilight brick paths.
I am wondering if anyone else visited the Festival and what they think of the snowflake lights glittering on the shops of the street.

That's alright. The real draw of Art Fear shouldn't be the money - but supporting the artists and people with our smiles. We aren't tourists: we're peers. |
