A Mountain in Today's Photo of the Day

Today’s photograph over at Tempe Daily Photo has a shot of some of the construction cropping up around the Ave, particularly University.

However, what really caught my eye is the shot of A Mountain, which features the prominent golden 'A' visibly in the distance beyond the ROAD CLOSED sign.

With the construction of the light rail tracks, I'm pretty sure that we will be seeing a lot more of this. As, we won't be seeing the even near-completion of this stuff until 2008. Although the worst of the light rail's effects can be seen on Apache, the area of University has been under a lot of hard-hat quality movement as well—looked like they were installing themselves some pipes of some kind last I looked.

This year it looks like construction season will have no end.
